My latest passion is to work on small area population estimation, i.e. modeling where people are at a given time. I've been exploring the use of web demographics, (Internet microdata about individuals) to do a "web census", human dynamics during disaster from social media, and attendance of a static and mobile crowd, etc. Here's the latest project:
